Lithology and Thickness

The Shakshuk Fm. is characterized by Anhydrite, limestone, dolostone, marl, and sandstone; and diagrammed as lower limestone, middle sandstone and upper dolomite (Klett, 2000).

Lower contact

It conformably overlies the Tigi Fm.

Upper contact

It is conformably overlain by the Cabao Fm.
